- dynamically defined properties on the config service did not have
autotracking set up properly if they were accessed in any way before the
property was defined, this caused problems in a number of areas because
we have both "unauthed" and "authed" sets of config and when not logged
in we had parts of the app checking for authed config properties that
don't exist until after sign-in and subsequent config re-fetch
- renamed `config` service to `configManager` and updated to only
contain methods for fetching config data
- added a `config` instance initializer that sets up a `TrackedObject`
instance with some custom properties/methods and registers it on
`config:main`
- uses application instance initializer rather than a standard
initializer because standard initializers are only called once when
setting up the test suite so we'd end up with config leaking across
tests
- added an `@inject` decorator that when used takes the property name
and injects whatever is registered at `${propertyName}:main`, this
allows us to use dependency injection for any object rather than just
services or controllers
- using `application.inject()` in the initializer was initially used but
that only works for objects that extend from `EmberObject`, the
injections weren't available in native-class glimmer components so this
decorator keeps the injection syntax consistent
- swapped all `@service config` uses to `@inject config`
no issue
- ran [ember-native-class-codemod](https://github.com/ember-codemods/ember-native-class-codemod) to convert the majority of remaining EmberObject based controllers and components to native class syntax using the `@classic` decorator
- skipped older style modal components (`components/modal-*.js`) due to observed incompatibilities in some cases
no issue
- part of ember upgrades
- removed all unnecessary usage of `.get`
- cleaned up imports where we had imports from the same module across multiple lines
- standardized on importing specific computed helpers rather than using `computed.foo`
- switched tests from using `wait()` to `settled()`
no issue
The current `/billing` route needs to be renamed into `/pro`, so we can use sub-routes like `/pro/billing` and `/pro/domain` in the billing app.
no issue
- Opted in to use explicit `hisotry.replaceState` and setting iframe's `src` using assignment instead of tracking it through computed property. This allows for tighter control over when iframe's history is updated which was causing problems when `src` was bound to computed property
- Added billing page metadata. This way browser history records appear with nicer signature
- Removed "update button" iframe and rewrote "global iframe" to not use modals. This allows to have single iframe on a page, which simplifies `postMessage` communication and preserve history inside iframe to be able to navigate it after closure
- Added route change handler responding to BMA app route changes. Allows to sync browser URL visible to the user with active route in BMA iframe. The sync is based on `hisory.replaceState` method that makes sure singular history records are kept in the browser history
- Added nested wildcard billing route. This is meant to catch all the nested routes inside of BMA iframe
no issue
- The 'response' property is needed to make the receiving client generic in regards of what data format has to be returned as a result of the call. For example with this change the 'response: subscription' meant there should be an incoming 'message' event as a response to this call with 'subscription' key into it's data
no issue
- Added billing update button to navigation menu. Ghost-Admin communicates with billing iframe and displays this button based on the plan data that iframe returns
- Ghost-Admin communicates with an iframe using same mechanism as with token exchange - throu `window.postMessage` API
