no issue
- fixed eslint config so tests are correctly linted
- removed `.only` on stats tests preventing other tests from running
- removed unneccessary `return` from async setup functions
As discussed with the product team we want to enforce kebab-case file names for
all files, with the exception of files which export a single class, in which
case they should be PascalCase and reflect the class which they export.
This will help find classes faster, and should push better naming for them too.
Some files and packages have been excluded from this linting, specifically when
a library or framework depends on the naming of a file for the functionality
e.g. Ember, knex-migrator, adapter-manager
refs https://github.com/TryGhost/Toolbox/issues/345
- this commit bumps `eslint-plugin-ghost`, which bumps compatiblity to
2022
- this also removes a lot of the manually-added
`parserOptions.ecmaVersion` that we had in imported packages, in favor
of the value set in `eslint-plugin-ghost`
no issue
- updated ember-cli-build and eslint config to support jsx
- added `react` and `react-dom` libraries
- included them in the build so the `React` and `ReactDom` globals are available for use by third party components
- added vendor shims so we can do things like `import * from 'react'` where the imports are referenced directly to the already imported modules
- added `<ReactComponent>` component
- designed to be extended from in specific react component classes
- renders a div and calls `renderComponent()` action once inserted - this should be replaced in any extended classes in order to render a react component
- handles react rendering and teardown
- added `<ReactMobiledocEditor>` react component that renders an editor composed of components provided by the `react-mobiledoc-editor` package
- added `<KoenigReactEditor>` ember component that renders `<ReactMobiledocEditor>` and handles pass-through of Ember arguments and handling of actions
- updated `<GhKoenigEditorReact>` to render `<KoenigReactEditor>` in place of `<KoenigEditor>`
no issue
- bumps eslint and eslint-plugin-ember versions
- octane rules are enabled by default
- disabled them in our eslintrc.json so we can switch to warn/error whilst migrating to octane
- fixed a couple of linting errors from new/updated rules
no issue
- fixed all `no-shadow` linter warnings
- changed `no-shadow` eslint rule from `warn` to `error` so we don't re-introduce shadowed variables in the future
no issue
- ran [`ember-native-class-codemod`](https://github.com/ember-codemods/ember-native-class-codemod) on members-related files
- updated files to remove need for `@classic` decorator where possible
- switched to tracked properties
- removed usage of `this.get/set/toggleProperty` etc
- swapped usage of `{{action 'foo'}}` for `{{this.foo}}`
no issue
- Convert validator to an npm dependency
- clean up validator imports
- fix validator function imports
- remove unused validator extensions
- Convert devicejs to an npm dependency
- Convert remaining used bower deps to npm deps
- 🔥 Remove bower & unused bower dependencies
- remove globals imports in favor of direct module imports where possible
no issue
- add eslint-plugin-ember, configure no-old-shims rule
- run `eslint --fix` on `app`, `lib`, `mirage`, and `tests` to move imports to the new module imports
- further cleanup of Ember globals usage
- remove event-dispatcher initializer now that `canDispatchToEventManager` is deprecated
no issue
- adds `eslint-plugin-sort-imports-es6-autofix` dependency
- implements ESLint's base `sort-imports` rule but has a distinction in that `import {foo} from 'bar';` is considered `multiple` rather than `single`
- fixes ESLint's autofix behaviour so `eslint --fix` will actually fix the sort order
- updates all unordered import rules by using `eslint --fix`
With the increased number of `import` statements since Ember+ecosystem started moving towards es6 modules I've found it frustrating at times trying to search through randomly ordered import statements. Recently I've been sorting imports manually when I've added new code or touched old code so I thought I'd add an ESLint rule to codify it.
* replace `isEditing` observers with `didReceiveAttrs` hook
* 🐛 Fix HTML card not launching in edit mode
closes https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/issues/8310
- adds `autofocus=true` attribute to `gh-cm-editor` that will use CodeMirror's built-in autofocus behaviour
- set HTML card's launch mode to `edit` and ensure that the `autofocus` attribute is passed
- refactor `gh-cm-editor` for more robust event handling
- re-work `ch-cm-editor` tests to take into account CMs events not being triggered within a single run-loop and to still work when the browser window isn't focused (should fix the random test failures on Travis and the issues where the CM tests will fail locally)
no issue
- preparation for using `ember-pikaday` that utilizes `ember-cli-moment-shim`
- removes usage of `moment` global
- removes custom imports of `moment` and `moment-timezone` libraries
no issue
- drop `jshint`, `jscs`, and `ember-suave` dependencies
- remove `grunt` related linting dependencies and tasks
- remove linting build from Travis so that linting can be performed as part of the normal test suite (refs TryGhost/Ghost#7427)
- add `ember-cli-eslint` and `eslint-plugin-ember-suave` dependencies
- configure `eslint` to match our previous coding style
- update config to run eslint tests as part of the normal test run
- add `npm run lint` command to only run linter tests
