5## Install
7Follow [these instructions][installer] if you just want to use Elm. To build
8the compiler from source, run the following commands:

13git clone https://github.com/elm-lang/Elm.git
14cd Elm
15cabal configure
16cabal build

19This will build the compiler in `/dist/build/elm/elm` but it will not be on
20your PATH.
