96a9afa2a5 drawdag: inline drawdag
Summary:
Since we have `debugbuilddag` as a builtin command, and `drawdag` is
pretty useful for writing clean test cases. Let's inline it. This would
simplify many tests since `drawdag=..." is no longer needed.

86be3bceed tests: add commit hashes to log commands in rebase tests
Commit hashes are a useful way to ensure the content of commits made in the
tests are not changing, even if we don't query every aspect of every commit.
(And some properties, like extras, are rarely printed at all.)

Many of the rebase log -G calls didn't show hashes; by adding hashes to places
that weren't showing them we can help protect those tests from unwanted
changes.

4129970972 rebase: move bookmarks with --keep (issue5682)
This is a regression caused by 80d53a39fbcc. We have documented the behavior
in rebase help:

Rebase will destroy original commits unless you use "--keep". It will
also move your bookmarks (even if you do).

So let's restore the old behavior.

It is done by changing `scmutil.cleanupnodes` to accept more information so
a node could have different "movement destination" from "successors". It
also helps simplifying the callsite as a side effect - the special bookmark
movement logic in rebase is removed.

936199e02d rebase: use scmutil.cleanupnodes (issue5606) (BC)
This patch migrates rebase to use scmutil.cleanupnodes API. It simplifies
the code and makes rebase code reusable inside a transaction.

This is a BC because the backup file is no longer strip-backup/*-backup.hg,
but strip-backup/*-rebase.hg. The latter looks more reasonable since the
directory name is "strip-backup" so there is no need to repeat "backup".

I think the backup file name change is probably fine as a BC, since we have
changed it before (2e51c9a7a08f) and didn't get complains. The end result
of this series will be a much more consistent and unified backup names:

command | old backup file suffix | new backup file suffix
  -------------------------------------------------------------------
  amend | amend-backup.hg | amend.hg
  histedit | backup.hg (could be 2 files) | histedit.hg (single file)
  rebase | backup.hg | rebase.hg
  strip | backup.hg | backup.hg

(note: backup files are under .hg/strip-backup)

It also fixes issue5606 as a side effect because the new "delayedstrip" code
path will carefully examine nodes (safestriproots) to make sure orphaned
changesets won't get stripped by accident.

Some warning messages are changed to the new "warning: orphaned descendants
detected, not stripping HASHES", which provides more information about
exactly what changesets are left behind.

Another minor behavior change is when there is an obsoleted changeset with a
successor in the destination branch, bookmarks pointing to that obsoleted
changeset will not be moved. I have commented in test-rebase-obsolete.t
explaining why that is more desirable.

307606e338 rebase: also include other namespaces in changeset description
This makes use of the generic method of listing bookmarks and tags, so
other extensions that add other namespaces will get their names added
too.

This does mean that bookmarks will come before tags, just like we
apparently decided to order them in the "hg log" output. It doesn't
seem like people would be parsing the rebase output anyway. We also
did 9461eb4ff93e (rebase: use _ctxdesc in one more place, 2017-08-29)
recently, so now seems like a good time.

7a525b7661 tests: add an explicit destination in some rebase tests
As we will make 'rebase' behave more like 'merge', it will no longer pick
'max(branch(.))' as the default destination. We have to hard code the expected
destination is multiple tests where it matters. After a careful inspection none
of theses tests really cares about the default destination behavior and just
omitted one out of laziness.

a6dc53e738 simplemerge: move conflict warning message to filemerge
The current output for a failed merge with conflict markers looks something like:

  merging foo
  warning: conflicts during merge.
merging foo incomplete! (edit conflicts, then use 'hg resolve --mark')
  merging bar
  warning: conflicts during merge.
merging bar incomplete! (edit conflicts, then use 'hg resolve --mark')

We're going to change the way merges are done to perform all premerges before
all merges, so that the output above would look like:

  merging foo
  merging bar
  warning: conflicts during merge.
merging foo incomplete! (edit conflicts, then use 'hg resolve --mark')
  warning: conflicts during merge.
merging bar incomplete! (edit conflicts, then use 'hg resolve --mark')

The 'warning: conflicts during merge' line has no context, so is pretty
confusing.

This patch will change the future output to:

  merging foo
  merging bar
warning: conflicts while merging foo! (edit, then use 'hg resolve --mark')
warning: conflicts while merging bar! (edit, then use 'hg resolve --mark')

The hint on how to resolve the conflicts makes this a bit unwieldy, but solving
that is tricky because we already hint that people run 'hg resolve' to retry
unresolved merges. The 'hg resolve --mark' mostly applies to conflict marker
based resolution.

2591767a70 bundles: do not overwrite existing backup bundles (BC)
Previously, a backup bundle could overwrite an existing bundle and cause user
data loss. For instance, if you have A<-B<-C and strip B, it produces backup
bundle B-backup.hg. If you then hg pull -r B B-backup.hg and strip it again, it
overwrites the existing B-backup.hg and C is lost.

The fix is to add a hash of all the nodes inside that bundle to the filename.
Fixed up existing tests and added a new test in test-strip.t

0cb0a7ba67 resolve: simplify "finished" message
The recently introduced message was:

no unresolved files; you may continue your unfinished operation

This had three problems:

- looks a bit like an error message because it's not saying "we've
  just resolved the last file"
- refers to "unfinished operation", which won't be the case with
  "update" or "merge"
- introduces semicolons to error messages, which is stylistically
  questionable

I've simplified this to:

  no more unresolved files

In the future, if we want to prompt someone to continue a particular operation, we should use
a hint style:

  no more unresolved files
(use 'hg graft --continue' to finish grafting)

85e363fea8 resolve: print message when no unresolved files remain (issue4214)
When using resolve, users often have to consult with the output of |hg
resolve -l| to see if any unresolved files remain. This step is tedious
and adds overhead to resolving.

This patch will notify a user if there are no unresolved files remaining
after executing |hg resolve|::

no unresolved files; you may continue your unfinished operation

The patch stops short of telling the user exactly what command should be
executed to continue the unfinished operation. That is because this
information is not currently captured anywhere. This would make a
compelling follow-up feature.

a9b7960ae6 rebase: preserve working directory parent (BC)
Prior to this changeset, rebase always left the working directory as a parent of
the last rebased changeset. The is dubious when, before the rebase, the working
directory was not a parent of the tip most rebased changeset.

With this changeset, we move the working directory back to its original parent.
If the original parent was rebased, we use it's successors.

This is a step toward solving issue3813 (rebase loses active bookmark if it's
not on a head)

de4c701f51 bookmarks: correctly update current bookmarks on rebase (issue2277)
When you rebased with a currently active bookmark, that bookmark would
always point at the new tip, regardless of what revision it pointed at
before the rebase.

All bookmarks will now point at the equivalent post-rebase commit.
However, the currently active bookmark will cease to be active unless
it points at the new tip post-rebase. Rebase will always leave the
new tip as the working copy parent, which is incompatible with having
an active bookmark that points at some other revision. The common
case should be that the active bookmark will point at the new tip
post-rebase.

aa99ac6df5 rebase: do not add second parent to rebased changeset (drop detach option) (BC)
Rebase now behaves as if --detach was always passed. Non-merges are
rebased as non-merges, regardless of their parent being an ancestor of
the destination. Merges will usually be rebased as merges unless both of
their parents are ancestors of the destination, or one of their parents
is pruned when rebased.

This only alters the behavior of rebase when using the --source/--rev
options. --detach option is deprecated.

All test changes were carefully validated.
