Summary: Previously, `SpanSet::from_sorted_spans` allows having adjacent spans like `[1..=2, 3..=4]`, while `SpanSet::from_spans` would merge them into `[1..=4]`. Change it so `SpanSet::from_sorted_spans` merges them too. This simplifies the `contains` logic and could make some Sets more efficient.
