Summary: This is more complex than previous libraries, mainly because `dag` defines APIs (traits) used by other code, which might raise error type not interested by `dag` itself. `BackendError::Other(anyhow::Error)` is currently used to capture types that do not fit in `dag`'s predefined error types.
