Summary: deprecate skip list based version this is part of the effort to deprecate skip lists infra known as **Skip Lists Deprecation** this endpoint is not called, it is safe to remove it either client first or server first also, we don't need to maintain two endpoints to check correctness, we passed that phase. Mercurial

Basic install:
$ make # see install targets
$ make install # do a system-wide install
$ hg debuginstall # sanity-check setup
$ hg # see help
Running without installing:
$ make local # build for inplace usage
$ ./hg --version # should show the latest version
