<p>Odia (Oriya, <span class='autonym'>ଉତ୍କଳ</span>) is an Indic abugida, written left-to-right (21 million users). Used since the c. 14th century in India for the Odia language (state language of Orissa). Also used for Dravidian and Munda languages. Needs software support for complex text layout (shaping).
