Gidugu is a Telugu font suitable for headlines, invitations and posters and is best used at large sizes.

Gidugu is named after Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy, who championed using Telugu as a language for everyone, not only a scholastic language.

The Telugu is designed and developed by Purushoth Kumar Guttula, and made available under the SIL Open Font License v1.1 by Silicon Andhra.

|
The Latin is newly designed for this project by Eduardo Tunni, a type designer in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

|
The Gidugu project is led by Appaji Ambarisha Darbha, a type designer based in Hyderabad, India.
