The project began with Nunito, created by Vernon Adams as a rounded terminal sans serif for display typography.

Jacques Le Bailly extended it to a full set of weights, and an accompanying regular non-rounded terminal version, <a href="https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Nunito+Sans">Nunito Sans</a>.
