localState: prevent serialization of HTMLElement
...
suspendedFocus may contain an HTMElement, which would throw an error
when it was serialized. Prevents this by adding suspendedFocus to the
seralization blacklist.

the other in simultaneous use.
We fall back to escaping markdown tokens we don't want.
