From 7473d126ef8bd4d48baaa254992d193d9c0371db Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Dimitri Sabadie Date: Tue, 24 Sep 2024 01:55:13 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] Make the client/architecture less confusing in the README. Some people (i.e. in the Doom Emacs discord) mentioned being confused at that X11 thing. The last commit that touched that line was in 2014, so I think providing more up-to-date examples should remove any confusion. --- README.asciidoc | 3 ++- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/README.asciidoc b/README.asciidoc index edfa60393..56fd12bf1 100644 --- a/README.asciidoc +++ b/README.asciidoc @@ -73,7 +73,8 @@ Features - Piping each selection to external filter * Client-Server architecture - Multiple clients on the same editing session - - Use tmux or your X11 window manager to manage windows + - Use tmux, zellij, kitty, wezterm or your X11/Wayland window manager to + manage splits/panes by spawning clients connected to the same session * Simple interaction with external programs * Automatic contextual help * Automatic as you type completion
