**2011/9/1**:  
Ready-to-run binaries are time-consuming to make and support.  From
release 0.15, I will build them on request for financial donors. This is a
great way to give back and help the hledger project!  Of course, you can
also [build them yourself](../MANUAL.html#installing). Thanks for your
support. -Simon

These older hledger binaries are also available. You may need to
decompress *(gunzip FILE.gz)* and make them executable *(chmod +x FILE)*
before running them.
