60db7d06c7 chat: amend codeeval asset for graphical tweak 
The inverted CodeEval png would have noticable inverted borders,
so we now render the border using css and tweak its colouring as
necessary.

6a10987602 chat: toggle input out of code mode after sending 
Closes #2836. Code input would stick after sending a code message, so we
now toggle out of it if we were in it, on enter.

40378d2b79 chat: require and remove leading space for /me 
Closes #2834. Previously, starting a message with '/me' removed itself,
retaining the space between it and the message itself; it also allowed
"/memessages" to be processed as /me messages.

bdec28c541 chat-js: load all unreads and autoread on activity 
if the number of unread messages is larger that the number we are going
to load, then load enough messages to display the unread marker.
Additionally, only automatically read a message if the user has been
active in the last minute. Freeze scroll position on inactivity.  Also
unconditionally scroll to the bottom upon sending your own message.

ae0e5025ad chat-js: fix race condition in new-dm flow

a7253d4480 chat-js: only show scrollbars if overflow 
Uses overflow: auto on the code attachments so that scrollbars only
appear if the content overflows the container. Adds borders on sent Hoon
code to improve visual seperation.

5b45ad986d chat: strictly match URLs in outgoing strings 
Our regex processes true, and sends a message as a URL, if any part of
the string is a URL starting with a URI schema.
We pass this function strings cut up by spaces. If a link was enclosed
in quotes, or in brackets, this would still process as true.

This adds ^ to the regex to only process strings that START with
a schema.

1b90328f39 chat-fe: fix index issue with pending messages 
To produce message elements we iterate over pendingMessage ++ messages,
but to check whether they're adjacent to a message by the same author,
we index back into messages, which produces incorrect results when
pendingMessages is nonEmpty

50dca97b07 publish: increase legibility for code in dark mode 
Makes the rules that set both a background and foreground color come
last in the CSS, increasing their specificity. Changes the highlight to a
lighter grey, to better stand out. Correctly aligns highlights with code
block backgrounds.

a3fed45af1 publish-js: avoid unnecessary scrollbars on note view 
the root container had height: 100% but also a margin-top set on it. This
caused unnecessary scrollbars to appear when the content did not
actually overflow the container.

Firefox treats the reflow in the scroll container weirdly so for the
scrollback case, we save the position to restore later, when the backlog
messages come in. For the 'locked at bottom' case we add a new state

Previously, if a room was navigated to directly, the resubscribe message
would show before the chatSynced state was loaded. Initialises
chatSynced as null and checks it is not null before showing the

On initial load, instead of getting the first 25 links for every
collection, only get their totals and unread counts. This drastically
reduces the pageload time.

Updates the frontend to match:
- Handle initial results without link content.

2c870cdfc0 chat-fe: resuscitate scrollback 
If the initial 20 messages doesn't cause the messages container to
overflow then the backlog will never be requested, making scrollback
impossible. This is due to making the container have position:relative
in order to display an overlay inside it.  Fixed by unconditionally
requesting the first page of backlog on load.

e7887b34c3 invite-search: handle suggestions for short searches 
Triggers invitee suggestions after one character of input. To
compensate for the potential explosion of suggestions, we
tighten our group searching criteria and truncate the
ship suggestions on short searches. Also addresses a bug where names of
groups were not being downcased before search.

a21294f02e publish: atomically refresh our settings inputs 
Before, when we got new props for the metadata of the notebook, all the
fields would flash blank or to previous inputs. This rewrites the
update function to be more atomic with how it edits state,
which seems to correct the behaviour to avoid blank fields and disable fields

By using an array, not a set, we stop deduplicating our group index,
pushing redundant information instead. When searching, this prevents a

Deletion retains its old behavior: can only be done by group owner, and
propagates.

Removing can now always be done by anyone, and works using
link-listen-hook: removing the collections from the set of ones we're

If you entered the web dojo and hit Backspace immediately,
it would still process it as a valid key but pass the whole key forward.

This adds a conditional to ignore the key in those cases.

When you were looking at your own card in another group,
it would say "Remove from" group. This is from an arbitrarily strict

c5d790410e chat: sidebar pulls nickname from associated group 
We were looking for the box in our contacts object, not the associated
group, so if you had a group and chat with the same name,
you'd see nicknames, but in no other situations. This commit rectifies
that by safely polling for the associated group of the chat.

chat fe: support adding chat to existing group 
Using the updated chat-view %groupify action. Groupifying without
selecting a group creates a new group based off the chat. Selecting a
group first makes that the target of the group, and allows you to
specify whether to merge ships from the chat into the group.

This lets you specify whether or not you want to include ships in search
results for the InviteSearch component, as is already possible for
groups. This enables group-only searching, as will be used by the next
commit.

Also modifies the placeholder text based on what is included in the
search results.

eff3c85973 chat: remove "#" from fallback sigil color 
In the chat input we fall back to #000000 and blend it; but we also
prefix any color we send to the sigil component with a # for
uxToHex values, so we end up passing ##000000. This results
in simplified sigils -- when in doubt, ensure the hex formatting
is correct...

a889706758 groups: sidebar, additional check for safety 
When accepting an invite, the sidebar would crash the application
because we were accessing 'metadata' of undefined -- accessing
too many nested property levels without enough safety.

This commit just adds a check for the intermediate property.

This commit adds a new subscription to launch and retain the current

1dd78ef413 chat: associations data structure -> nested object 
Before this, it was a Map. But because we want to store multiple app
metadata stores -- and because maps are specialised objects -- this
commit restructures the store, reducers, and rewrites behaviour first.

link fe: refactor route paths 
We change route paths back to their more-sane ordering, giving up
support for /longer/resource/paths.

The makeRoutePath utility constructs a route path for the given resource,
that optionally points to a specific page, or item, etc.

Also removes unused uuid utility.
