287c98c707 Fixed membersStats service stale-data logic
no issue

- the stale data checks would always return false because the calculation was reversed
  - `old date - new date` will always result in a negative number so it would never be greater than 60000
  - switched to `new date - old date` to get a positive number so the `>` comparison works
  - moved `1 * 60 * 1000` into a constant so it's easier to the intended behaviour at a glance

32599caa90 Updated to handle new Config API response
refs: https://github.com/TryGhost/Team/issues/510

- The config API has been changed to return the full hostSettings key, not just the billing URL
- This has been done because we are adding more config, and it's easier to reason about if Admin has the same config as server
- Proxying each value also requires multiple updates to the API each time
- This updates all the places where the old values were used

refs 7687571b12

While extracting the portal preview url setup to member-utils, the util incorrectly referenced values for free/monthly/yearly plans and so stopped reacting to selected plans in Portal preview. This change fixes the `isFreeChecked`, `isMonthlyChecked` and `isYearlyChecked` references in util.

78513b7998 🐛 Fixed flash of unstyled content appearing when toggling night mode (#1818)
closes https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/issues/12396

We use two stylesheets ghost-light.css and ghost-dark.css for light mode and night mode respectively. The problem occurs when we disable the light stylesheet when we enable dark stylesheet, as there is a moment when there is no style applied. This causes flash of unstyled content (or a big logo when users flip the night mode switch)

Since the ghost-dark style is loaded after the ghost-light stylesheet, we only need to enable or disable the dark stylesheet. When the dark stylesheet is enabled, the light stylesheet will be overridden automatically by the browser. I could not find any performance implications on overriding styles. The only performance implication is around loading a new stylesheet which we already do.

f068e40723 Added new members CSV importer (#1797)
no refs
depends on https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/pull/12472

The members CSV importer gets an overhaul and works with new importer module in members service, performing the import in a background job when the import will take too long to complete in a reasonable time and send an email with data on completion. Also includes updated CSV mapping UI and error handling to allow easier import from different type of exports.

c3d141dd03 Added improved validations for 2nd step of members import
no issue

- Adds validations for imported CSV data
- These checks include obvious validation checks for data - like if email addresses are valid, checking if Stripe configured when entries with stripe_customer_id are present and additional server-side validation for entries with stripe_customer_id to check if they appear in connected Stripe account
- The validation set is calculated by naive choosing of first 5, middle 5 and 5 tail records from imported set. This logic comes from observations that errors usually apear withing "test" records in the beggining or the end of the file. These selection rules might change in the future if we find a need for it.
- Adds papaparse CSV parser, which was chosen for it's maturity and relatively small minified size. In the future this library should be lazy-loaded to make the first page load UX nicer

5d59670ac3 Fixed browser URL syncronization with embeded iframe state
no issue

- Opted in to use explicit `hisotry.replaceState` and setting iframe's `src` using assignment instead of tracking it through computed property. This allows for tighter control over when iframe's history is updated which was causing problems when `src` was bound to computed property
- Added billing page metadata. This way browser history records appear with nicer signature
- Removed "update button" iframe and rewrote "global iframe" to not use modals. This allows to have single iframe on a page, which simplifies `postMessage` communication and preserve history inside iframe to be able to navigate it after closure
- Added route change handler responding to BMA app route changes. Allows to sync browser URL visible to the user with active route in BMA iframe. The sync is based on `hisory.replaceState` method that makes sure singular history records are kept in the browser history

2231dd84c2 Migrated to <AngleBracketSyntax /> (#1460)
no issue

Ember is migrating to `<AngleBracketSyntax />` for component invocation, see https://github.com/emberjs/rfcs/blob/master/text/0311-angle-bracket-invocation.md

We were in a half-way situation where some templates used angle bracket syntax in some places, this PR updates templates to use the syntax everywhere.

This simplifies the rules for what template code is referring to...

`<Component>` = a component
`{{helper}}` = a helper (or locally assigned handlebars variable)
`{{this.foo}}` = data on the template backing context (a component/controller)
`{{@foo}}` = a named argument passed into the component that the component backing class has not modified (note: this commit does not introduce any named arguments)

- ran codemod https://github.com/ember-codemods/ember-angle-brackets-codemod on the following directories:
  - `app/templates`
  - `lib/koenig-editor/addon/templates`
- removed positional params from components as angle bracket syntax does not support them
  - `gh-feature-flag`
  - `gh-tour-item`
  - `gh-cm-editor`
  - `gh-fullscreen-modal`
  - `gh-task-button`
- updates some code that was missed in 3c851293c1 to use explicit this

3653cfbfbf Refactored document-title handler
no issue
- moved `document-title` Route extension's functionality into the `ui` service
  - updates the title each time the router service emits a route changed event
  - `ui.updateDocumentTitle()` can now be called directly from components rather than the confusing `this.send('updateDocumentTitle')` bubbling behaviour
- refactored the `titleToken` implementation to use the now-formalised `RouteInfo`'s `metadata` field (https://github.com/emberjs/rfcs/blob/master/text/0398-RouteInfo-Metadata.md#appendix-a)

da92eadecd Added ability to set <main> class using route metadata
no issue
- modified `ui` service's `routeDidChange` handler to update it's `mainClass` property based on the new route's metadata
- used in the future for switching screen background colours

To use the feature, modify or add a `buildRouteInfoMetadata` hook in the route which you'd like to change, eg:

```js
export default AuthenticatedRoute.extend({
    ...
    buildRouteInfoMetadata() {
        return {
            bodyClasses: ['my-body-class'],
            mainClasses: ['grey-bg'] // <--------
        };
    }
});
```

The route hierarchy is taken into consideration with classes being added for all currently shown routes. For example if you wanted to add an `editor` class to all editor routes you could use the hook in `routes/editor.js` then if you added an `editor-new` class in `routes/editor/new.js` the resulting HTML output on the "New story" screen would be:

```html
<main class="gh-main editor editor-new">
```

28b5f7de52 🐛 Fixed night shift toggle in Firefox Nightly. (#1174)
Over in:

 * https://github.com/whatwg/html/issues/3840
 * https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1281135

I'm trying to come up with a model for `<link rel="stylesheet" disabled>` in
which Blink / WebKit and Firefox can agree on.

See that HTML spec issue for all the inconsistencies of WebKit / Blink, and the
following post for more context:

 * https://groups.google.com/d/msg/mozilla.dev.platform/BdgNaChHnpY/mhXzCBwSCgAJ

---

Unfortunately, my change to Firefox breaks the Ghost Admin panel night-mode
switch (you can see it in Firefox Nightly).

This is because with my change, removing the `disabled` attribute from an
stylesheet behaves the same regardless of whether the `disabled` attribute is
added dynamically or not.

That means that adding the `disabled` attribute dynamically "unloads" the
stylesheet completely (just like when the attribute is there before inserting
the link in the document, or from the parser). Thus removing the attribute will
load the stylesheet again and fire a load event.

This is problematic for the code as-is, because it means that each time that the
load event fires when the disabled attribute is removed on an alternate, then
it's added again. :)

Prevent that from happening by removing the load event listener ASAP. What this
code wants is to only resolve the promise once after all.

Given this is so far the only regression from my change that has been reported
(over at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1546707), I think fixing
the Ghost-Admin panel is worth it.

If this pattern is somehow common, then we'll probably revert that patch and go
back to the sad current state of affairs regarding interop :(

dbbc4f5fa4 🐛 Fixed error after logging in from a nested admin URL
closes https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/issues/10629
- the error was occurring due to `session.user` CP being populated with a rejected promise when attempting to access the first route. The CP has no dependent key so any further attempts to access `session.user` would be rejected

- [es5 getters RFC](https://github.com/emberjs/rfcs/blob/master/text/0281-es5-getters.md)
- updates the majority of `object.get('property')` with `object.property` with exceptions:
  - `.get('nested.property')` - it's not possible to determine if this is relying on "safe" path chaining for when `nested` doesn't exist
  - `.get('config.x')` and `.get('settings.x')` - both our `config` and `settings` services are proxy objects which do not support es5 getters
- this PR is not exhaustive, there are still a number of places where `.get('service.foo')` and similar could be replaced but it gets us a long way there in a quick and automated fashion

e7c3b1b0e3 🐛 Fixed Code Injection input fields not being clickable
no issue
- lazy loaded scripts such as the CodeMirror asset used on the Code Injection screen could throw errors such as `TypeError: Cannot set property 'modeOption' of undefined`
- this was caused by "loading" promise returned from the `lazyLoader` service returning as soon as the network request finished which can be before the loaded script has been parsed and run meaning any processing occurring after the promise returns could be depending on unloaded code
- switched the lazyLoader service's loading mechanism from an ajax fetch to insertion of a `<script>` tag which can have `load` event attached which _will_ return after parsing/loading has completed

a5eeb1865b 🎨 Move "Update available" notification to the About screen (#894)
refs https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/issues/5071

Upgrade messages are now shown on the About screen rather than as alerts. Notifications that are marked as `top` or `custom` are still shown as alerts to allow for certain upgrade messages to be given more visibility.

- remove old `upgrade-notification` service
- update the `upgrade-status` service:
  - add a `message` property that contains an upgrade notification if any exists
  - add a `handleUpgradeNotification` method that accepts a Notification model instance and extracts the `notification.message` property into a html safe string for use in templates
- when loading server notifications during app boot, pass notifications that aren't marked as `top` or `custom` to the new `handleUpgradeNotification` method
- update the `about.hbs` template to pull the upgrade message from the `upgradeStatus` service

cb59388c5b 💄🐷 sort-imports eslint rule (#712)
no issue

- adds `eslint-plugin-sort-imports-es6-autofix` dependency
  - implements ESLint's base `sort-imports` rule but has a distinction in that `import {foo} from 'bar';` is considered `multiple` rather than `single`
  - fixes ESLint's autofix behaviour so `eslint --fix` will actually fix the sort order
- updates all unordered import rules by using `eslint --fix`

With the increased number of `import` statements since Ember+ecosystem started moving towards es6 modules I've found it frustrating at times trying to search through randomly ordered import statements. Recently I've been sorting imports manually when I've added new code or touched old code so I thought I'd add an ESLint rule to codify it.

a63dbb7da6 🐛 fix broken sidebar after successful import (#658)
closes TryGhost/Ghost#8307

- unloading the store and refreshing the `session.user` attribute after an import was triggering a rendering edge case where the style was re-computed and a re-render was attempted after the sidebar has been destroyed
- rather than binding a style attribute directly to a CP in `gh-nav-menu` we pass the menu icon in (using `settings.settledIcon` - see below) and manually set the style attribute via the `didReceiveAttrs` hook so that outside changes don't trigger re-computations when we don't expect them and so we can still react to icons being uploaded or removed
- our usage of `settings.icon` is a bit of an odd situation because it's a link to an external resource that will only resolve correctly after a successful save - if we change `settings.icon` in the local store and the nav menu icon style updates before the save has been completed then the server will give us the old icon. To work around this a `settings.settledIcon` attribute has been added that is only updated when we receive data from the store ensuring that our cache-busting technique works correctly

6dabb84e0a 🐛 fix sticky dropdown links (#621)
closes https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/issues/8269

- swaps the usage of our custom `gh-dropdown` component in the user menu dropdown for the `ember-wormhole` based `ember-basic-dropdown` that is used elsewhere in the app and will fully replace `gh-dropdown` in the future
- adds `gh-basic-dropdown` component that extends from `ember-basic-dropdown` and hooks into our `dropdown` service so that we can programatically close dropdowns from disparate areas of the app
- modifies the `body-event-listener` mixin to pass the click event through to it's consumers
- modifies the `bodyClick` handler in the `dropdown` service to check if the click actually originated from an ember-basic-dropdown element - this body click handler will go away once we've fully switched to `gh-basic-dropdown`

b4cdc85a59 "400 Version Mismatch" error handling
refs https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/issues/6949

Handle version mismatch errors by:
- displaying an alert asking the user to copy any data and refresh
- disabling navigation so that unsaved data is not accidentally lost

Detailed changes:
- add `error` action to application route for global route-based error handling
- remove 404-handler mixin, move logic into app route error handler
- update `.catch` in validation-engine so that promises are rejected with the
  original error objects
- add `VersionMismatchError` and `isVersionMismatchError` to ajax service
- add `upgrade-status` service
  - has a method to trigger the alert and toggle the "upgrade required" mode
  - is injected into all routes by default so that it can be checked before
    transitioning
- add `Route` override
  - updates the `willTransition` hook to check the `upgrade-status` service
    and abort the transition if we're in "upgrade required" mode
- update notifications `showAPIError` method to handle version mismatch errors
- update any areas where we were catching ajax errors manually so that the
  version mismatch error handling is obeyed
- fix redirect tests in editor acceptance test
- fix mirage's handling of 404s for unknown posts in get post requests

9a28e5d7d5 Scheduler UI
refs TryGhost/Ghost#6413 and TryGhost/Ghost#6870

needs TryGhost/Ghost#6861

- **Post Settings Menu (PSM)**:'Publish Date' input accepts a date from now, min. 2 minutes to allow scheduler processing on the server. Also, there will always be some delay between typing the date and clicking on the 'Schedule Post' button. If the user types a future date for an already published post, the date will be reseted and he sees the message, that the post needs to be unpublished first. Once, the date is accepted, the label will change to 'Scheduled Date'.

- adds a CP 'timeScheduled' to post model, which will return `true` if the publish time is currently in the future.

- **Changes to the button flow in editor**:
- if the the CP `timeScheduled` returns true, a different drop-down-menu will be shown: 'Schedule Post' replaces 'Publish Now' and 'Unschedule' replaces 'Unpublish'.

- Covering the _edge cases_, especially when a scheduled post is about to be published, while the user is in the editor.
	- First, a new CP `scheduleCountdown` will return the remaining time, when the estimated publish time is 15 minutes from now. A notification with this live-ticker is shown next to the save button. Once, we reach a 2 minutes limit, another CP `statusFreeze` will return true and causes the save button to only show `Unschedule` in a red state, until we reach the publish time
	- Once the publish time is reached, a CP `scheduledWillPublish` causes the buttons and the existing code to pretend we're already dealing with a publish post. At the moment, there's no way to make a background-fetch of the now serverside-scheduled post model from the server, so Ember doesn't know about the changed state at that time.
	- Changes in the editor, which are done during this 'status freeze'-process will be saved back correctly, once the user hits 'Update Post' after the buttons changed back. A click on 'Unpublish' will change the status back to a draft.
	- The user will get a regular 'toaster' notification that the post has been published.

- adds CP `isScheduled` for scheduled posts
- adds CP `offset` to component `gh-posts-list-item` and helper `gh-format-time-scheduled` to show schedule date in content overview.
- sets timeout in `gh-spin-button` to 10ms for `Ember.testing`
- changes error message in `gh-editor-base-controller` to be in one line, seperated with a `:`

TODOs:

39a09ca28a Fix auth header caching in ajax service
closes https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/issues/6884
- mark the `headers` method in the ajax service as "volatile" - it's dependent key was causing the auth headers to be cached on first use which would then cause 401 errors once the token had been refreshed externally

It would also be possible to add `session.authenticated.access_token` as a dependent key but the code-path and usage are minimal so I believe `.volatile()` is preferable as it means that it's not tied directly to the authorizer implementation.

24e71ffdaa Timezones: Always use the timezone of blog setting
closes TryGhost/Ghost#6406

follow-up PR of #2

- adds a `timeZone` Service to provide the offset (=timezone reg. moment-timezone) of the users blog settings
- `gh-datetime-input` will read the offset of the timezone now and adjust the `publishedAt` date with it. This is the date which will be shown in the PSM 'Publish Date' field. When the user writes a new date/time, the offset is considered and will be deducted again before saving it to the model. This way, we always work with a UTC publish date except for this input field.
- gets `availableTimezones` from `configuration/timezones` API endpoint
- adds a `moment-utc` transform on all date attr (`createdAt`, `updatedAt`, `publishedAt`, `unsubscribedAt` and `lastLogin`) to only work with UTC times on serverside
- when switching the timezone in the select box, the user will be shown the local time of the selected timezone
- `createdAt`-property in `gh-user-invited` returns now `moment(createdAt).fromNow()` as `createdAt` is a moment date already
- added clock service to show actual time ticking below select box
- default timezone is '(GMT) Greenwich Mean Time : Dublin, Edinburgh, London'
- if no timezone is saved in the settings yet, the default value will be used
- shows the local time in 'Publish Date' in PSM by default, until user overwrites it
- adds dependency `moment-timezone 0.5.4` to `bower.json`

---------

**Tests:**

- sets except for clock service in test env
- adds fixtures to mirage
- adds `service.ajax` and `service:ghostPaths` to navigation-test.js
- adds unit test for `gh-format-timeago` helper
- updates acceptance test `general-setting`
- adds acceptance test for `editor`
- adds integration tests for `services/config` and `services/time-zone`

---------

**Todos:**

- [ ] Integration tests: ~~`services/config`~~, ~~`services/time-zone`~~, `components/gh-datetime-input`
- [x] Acceptance test: `editor`
- [ ] Unit tests: `utils/date-formatting`
- [ ] write issue for renaming date properties (e. g. `createdAt` to `createdAtUTC`) and translate those for server side with serializers

83c9270682 Subscribers: Admin User Interface v1
Initial Subscribers screen
- set up mocked api endpoints
- basic subscribers screen with data loading, infinite scroll

"Add Subscriber" screen
- uses modal to display a new subscriber form
- validates subscriber e-mail address
- moves pagination from route into controller to use filtered/sorted CPs on top of a live-query so that new subscribers are added to the list and the total can be properly managed

TODO:
- there is currently a pretty serious performance issue where the whole table is re-rendered when the live-query is updated. `ember-light-table` doesn't allow for live-binding and has no options to easily manipulate it's rows using an external interface - it's possible to move the page loading into the component so we only render new rows but that leaves it difficult to react to new subscribers being added through the UI. I believe the number of components used within the table is also adding to the performance problems.
  - most likely solution is to drop `ember-light-table` in favour of rendering the table directly - glimmer should do a good job of fast updates even though the underlying array will be completely swapped out

"Import subscribers" screen
- uses modal to display an import subscribers CSV file upload form
- displays upload progress
- displays import stats and reloads subscribers table once import has completed
- adds `gh-file-uploader` component (NB. pared down copy of `gh-image-uploader`, ripe for some refactoring)
- fixes subscribers acceptance test failing because fixtures did not have the labs flag enabled

Unfortunately this doesn't have 100% test coverage as we're limited in how we can simulate file uploads 😞

Fix performance issues with subscribers table
- moves the table definition from the component up to the controller
- switches back to manually manipulating table rows instead of using a live-query

This is a quick-fix in that it allows us to continue using the `ember-light-table` component but it does mean that we lose some flexibility that the live-query gave us. For now it's not much of an issue and it allows us to defer deeper performance/flexibility work until we have a concrete need and requirements.

Hook up Export CSV button
- use a hidden iFrame to trigger the browser to hit the CSV export endpoint and download the file

Re-order subscribers table by clicking column headers
- displays currently sorted column and sort direction
- clicking a column header re-fetches the data from the server with the appropriate query params

Fix scroll triggers for infinite pagination + icon change
- adds a debounce as well as the throttle so that we always get a final scroll trigger once scrolling has stopped
- changes the subscribers icon from the temporary team icon to the mail icon

e79b07fd31 Unify mobile state in JS, drop resize
In `gh-content-view-container` the visibility of another DOM node was
being used to detect if a given view was mobile or not. This means the
UI needed to have layout forced (and DOM rendered) before the content
view container would render a second time. This is slow interaction with
the DOM (forcing layout) and slow for Ember's renderer (it needs to
render the container once with a default, then again when the value
changes).

Additionally there were two ways resize was being observed. The
`Window.matchMedia` API was used for some styles and the `ember-resize`
addon used to detect other changes. Here I've unified around just the
`Window.matcheMedia` API but abstracted it behind a service.

Sizes are exposed as properties that can be bound to or used directly in
templates.

71c358b638 Use Ember.inject instead of needs and initializers
No Issue
- Switches to the newer style of dependency injection.
- Instead of injection Controllers via "needs," use
  Ember.inject.controller().
- Get rid of initializers that were only injecting objects
  into various factories. Converts these objects into Ember.Service
  objects and declaratively inject them where needed via
  Ember.inject.service(). The added benefit to this is that it's no
  longer a mystery where these properties/methods come from and it's
  straightforward to inject them where needed.
