Users may spend a lot of effort writing histedit rules,
getting an abort without being told they can recover their work
is very frustrating.

Avoid that by telling them where to find their work.

Basic install:

 $ make            # see install targets
 $ make install    # do a system-wide install
 $ hg debuginstall # sanity-check setup
 $ hg              # see help

Running without installing:

 $ make local      # build for inplace usage
 $ ./hg --version  # should show the latest version
